Wilkes House

Stay in a piece of history on Jones Street. Originally built in the late 1800s, the building was the first home saved and renovated in the Pulaski Ward by the Historic Savannah Foundation. This parlor-level rental is where Mrs. Wilkes lived during the boardinghouse’s early days, directly above the restaurant that now occupies the ground floor.

Highlights include original wood floors, three marble fireplaces, fine antiques, high ceilings and original pocket doors. A king bed waits in the large bedroom, with a separate dining room, a living room with flat screen television and queen sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a small back patio for morning coffee.
